Sheffy George

Sheffy George is a renowned cinematographer, photographer, filmmaker, and IT graduate from St. Andrews Degree College, Mumbai University. He worked in a corporate company before jumping into the filmmaking world. After graduation, he enrolled in Mindscreen Film Institute in Chennai for a six months course to learn the art and craft of digital cinematography. Starts his career by assisting in Director Kiran Rao's film under Aamir Khan Production titled Dhobi Ghaat became very well-known among audiences and created headlines.

He helped in the Kannada film Thithi which was awarded National Award and Golden Leopard winner at Locarno International Film Festival. He has written and directed Ad films in short form content for different clients and agencies. He has been working as a second unit DP, first AC, and camera operator. He has his own production house called Eager Beaver Productions. He has been working as a freelancer for around eight years now.

He assisted DoP Vivek Shah on Love Hostel, a Hindi feature film directed by Shanker Raman Shanker Raman is a renowned Indian cinematographer >> Read More... and co-produced by Red Chilies Entertainment and Drishyam Films, and Blood (working title), a web series for Hotstar, produced by Reliance Entertainment. The film Love Hostel premiered on February 25th, 2022 available on the OTT platform, Zee5. He had an incredibly enriching and good experience on both these projects, assisting Vivek, an artist extraordinaire.
