Raja Satankar is a cinematography who has predominantly worked in Marathi cinema and Hindi TV industry. Raja started out as a prominent photographer, he did many wild life photography shots, slowly and gradually many of his amazing clicks started getting recognition in the magazines and newspapers. He then decided to learn filmmaking and camera handling in order to get into the film industry.
He made his debut as a cinematographer in 2006 with Marathi film Nana Mama. He then went on to work in films like Irada Pakka, Dham Dhoom, Candle March and his latest Marathi film Party released in 2018. In between, he also was hired by SAB TV to work as the chief cinematographer on their flagship show FIR, where he worked on over 1500 shows over the span of 5 years.
