Praveen Bhat

Praveen Bhat is an amateur photographer, from New Delhi. He is one of the best fashion photographers, to the likes of various top stars of our country. Praveen hails from a Punjabi family, and he was born and brought up in Delhi. He did his schooling in Blue Bells International. He graduated in the field of Arts, from the Delhi University. After obtaining a degree, he landed at a job with the travel company, Virgin Atlantic. Bored with his routine life and because of his yearning to become a photographer, he quit his job and started pursuing his passion.

Since he was the sole breadwinner of his family, Praveen’s parents were initially against his decision of quitting the job but were later very supportive. He is known for his unique style of capturing the models in an unusual way. Before the main photo-shoot, Bhat, and his team work on a rehearsal shoot. Praveen has set up his office in New Delhi, from where he works. His favorite mode is street and candid photography. Praveen’s debut camera work was with an advertising agency, for a campaign ‘Bachpan Bachao’, which went viral online. Praveen is currently busy shooting for both commercials and portfolios of stars. He started following his passion for photography, since the year 2008.

He has clicked fabulous pictures for many top brands like Malabar Gold, Nikon, HCL, Liberty Shoes, Himalaya, and so on. Praveen clicks pictures for the magazine The Provogue and Satya Paul magazine shoots. He has told in an interview that the financial success of any art form is highly distraught and unpredictable if one doesn't know the ropes of the business. He says to become successful one should keep trying and be innovative. He got married to Reema Gulati Bhat, and the couple has a daughter, called Syra.
