Kundan Sad

Kundan Sad was born on August 18, 1990, in Maharashtra. He is a talented cinematographer who is passionate about meticulously capturing every shot. He has worked in a variety of films and television projects. Kundan uses his skills to create fine cinematic experiences. He got married in November 2020 to Vrinda Nagpal. Kundan has worked on 37 television projects as a cinematographer, nine as a director and eight as an editor. Among all, he’s known for Plus Minus(2019), The Profiler(2014), It’s Good to See You Again(2020) and Acme(2016). His significant achievements include three awards and seven nominations.

He won Platinum Film of the Year for his film Footsteps at the India Film Project Award in 2017, Gold Film of the Year for Faulen at the India Film Project Award in 2017 and Gold Film of the Year for Acme at the India Film Project Award in 2016. His first nomination was The Profiler for Best Cinematography in 2015 at Miami International Science Film Festival, followed by in 2017 for Best Short Film at Fake Flesh Film Fest. Life Syndrome was nominated as Best Foreign Short Film in 2017. Then in 2019, Plus Minus was set at the Africa International Film Festival. It’s Good to See You Again was nominated three times in the Best Film category in 2020 Kudan’s years of dedication to beautifying every shot inspire cinematographers to work hard and bring their perspectives to life.
