He was hailed in Roorkee, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Mohammad’s father owns a grocery store in Roorkee. He was the youngest in the family and has six siblings. Initially, he doesn’t have an idea of what acting is until the crew of Gattu film went to their school to look for children who will act in the film.
He auditioned and was included in the top 20 students who were selected. Later, he was included in top four until he was selected to play the lead role. He bagged the Best Child Actor Award at the 12th New York Indian Film Festival for his portrayal as Gattu. Because of this, Rajan Khosa gave him a one-year education scholarship at St. Gabriel’s School in Roorkee.
