Aryan Sharma is a talented child actor, dancer and choreographer in Indian television, and is known for his role as Chotu in '
Diya Aur Baati Hum', which airs on Star Plus.
His debut on television was
Ladies Special. He then appeared as Bunty in SAB TV’s '
Ring Wrong Ring', before bagging the role of Chotu in Diya Aur Baati Hum. Chotu is an employee and close friend of the illiterate boy Suraj, and Aryan’s portrayal of the character has won many hearts and accolades. He also appeared in Nayi Soch Ki Talaash Aamir Ke Saath and Saas Bahu Aur Saazish.
Aryan has been dancing since he was 8 years old, when he would watch dance shows on television and would try the steps at home. He joined formal classes and is very comfortable with the Bollywood style of dancing.
He even choreographs dances for his schoolmates every year and for a festivals and functions in his society. He plans to showcase his talent on dancing shows and would be delighted to be a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa or
Nach Baliye in the not-so-distant future.
Just like his character Chotu, he loves watching movies and is very naughty. He also enjoys eating rasgulla, and playing cricket and video games and his favourite actor is
Amitabh Bachchan. He finds the right balance between school and acting and sometimes studies on the sets. His favorite subject is History and if he wasn’t an actor, he would like to grow up to be a fighter pilot.
