Vatsal Dhamani

Vatsal Dhamani is an Indian Art Director, Production Designer, Architect, and Theatre Artist. He was born on 16 July 1993 in the city of Ahmedabad in Gujarat. Vatsal Dhamani began his schooling at Gujarat Law Society school and eventually passed out from M.K. Higher Secondary School. He then pursued his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at the School Of Architecture and Vadodara Design Academy. After graduating, Vatsal Dhamani began working at the Architecture Department. In 2020, he switched jobs and became an Assistant Art Director at Tiger Baby. Vatsal Dhamani was part of the additional crew for the TV series ‘Made in Heaven’, which aired in 2023. 

The series circles around the lives of two wedding planners from Delhi who navigate through modern and traditional wedding customs. Vatsal Dhamani is passionate about theater and is involved with multiple theater groups and productions. He is well known for his association with the theater group- Applause Vadodara. Along with this group, Vatsal Dhamani helped set up ‘Paper Poets’ in 2014. This is a reading event that is supposed to help transcend language barriers in the field and promote unheard voices in the city. Vatsal Dhamani also holds popular Scenography workshops on Set Design for Theatre.
