Prerna Kathuria is a native of Mumbai, Maharashtra. She studied her Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in English Literature at Delhi University DU and completed her post-graduation Master of Arts (M.A) in Linguistics from Jawaharlal Nehru University JNU. Apart from this, to enhance her academics, she even accomplished an M.Phil in Culture Studies from JNU. Prerna Kathuria, in her professional career, first started as a Set Dresser in Phantom in Varanasi Area, and then moved to Matchstix Art and Production Design, Mumbai Area, and gained experience till 2016.
2012 marked a milestone in her life and she got promoted as an Art Coordinator and at present working as a Freelance Production Designer, in Mumbai. Prerna showcased her talent and skills in some of the most famous TV series, such as Rocketry: The Nambi Effect (2022), Khuda Haafiz (2020), and Masaan (2015) as a Production Designer,
