Chakshu Roy is a PRS Disclosure Legislation Research Lead and Writer. He leads the outreach team and leads the legislator and citizen engagement program of the PRS Center for Legislative Research in India, which started with CPR. PRS is a unique initiative that provides non-partisan analysis to all MPs in India. Conceived and developed the only online database of all state laws in India and organized capacity-building seminars for more than 1,000 journalists to track the work of legislators.
Before joining PRS, Roy was an attorney specializing in real estate and commercial contracts. Before this, he worked in corporate law at the New Delhi Fa Conference. He was selected as an INK researcher in 2010 and earned a bachelor's degree in business and law from Delhi University.
