Shraddha Gaikwad

Shraddha Gaikwad, the daughter of a security guard, is an emerging artist of India. Tribune India has highlighted her after she achieved a trophy. She won a gold medal in the national games in the skateboarding street. She is known to be the “wonder girl.” She is a native of Pune, Maharashtra, India and is having the limelight because of her sports competitions. She has worked for a few advertisements for brands like Pantene and Patanjali. In those commercials, she could be seen doing skateboarding. She has also played a small role in the film, ‘Skater Girl’, released in 2021. She believes that she is getting all these changes in her life only because of her sports passion or involvement in skatesboarding.

Shraddha Gaikwad was born in 2008 and comes from a backward area of Maharashtra, facing a lot of family problems. But her luck has done a great job for her, and her perseverance proved to be a wonderful way to help her. Shraddha’s father’s name is Ravindra Gaikwad. Her father came to Pune in 2017 for a job. He was then placed as a security guard for a sports store called Decathlon sports store. After a few months, the family moved to Wagholi in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Once, Shraddha saw a person trying to ride on a skateboard. She liked it and tried it herself.

She was fascinated by skateboarding, and she grew up with the passion and made it her hobby. She would carry a lunch box for her father and would go by skateboard. She was then spotted by a store employee named Shrikant. He helped her to have the basic training for skateboarding. Shraddha Gaikwad was lucky to have a coach by her side named Swapnil Magare. She started attending the workshops and sought help from her coach to attend the national-level championships. She is a known skater girl who is also pursuing her passion for skateboarding and having a career in films.
