Shanti Chaturvedi is a Pahari actress who belongs to Uttarakhand. She is famously known for the film, Gharjawain, released around 1980. Before this film, she worked on at least two other films. Still, she gained limelight only because of “Gharjawain.” she then started working in other languages like Gujarati, Hindi, and Punjabi Film Industries. She became so popular with the release of the film that she started being known by that film only. The film Gharjawain had a gross budget of 35 lakhs at that time.
It was the most expensive film that was shot in Badrinath, Kedarnath, and other Pahari areas of Uttarakhand. She also acted in another Haryanvi Hit film, Lilo Chaman. Shanti Chaturvedi then started acting in other films like Rajasthani, Gujarati, Haryanvi, Bhojpuri and other languages. She is still known for this film (“Gharjawain”) in Uttarakhand. She is a happy-living married woman and is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
