As told by her father, Pashmina has had excellent acting skills and an interest in the modeling field since childhood, and she was very passionate about being an actress from an early age. Pashmina used to take play often in the dramas and activities in her school as an emerging artist. Along with acting, she was keen to learn dance and took classes from a legendary dancer, Saroj Khan.

Pashmina Roshan completed her education and joined a famous acting school, Jeff Goldberg Studio, in Mumbai for acting classes. The first official theatre work for which Pashmina has played a leading role as an artist is The Importance of Being Earnest. She gained the limelight as soon as the makers announced the release of the Bollywood movie Ishq Vishk Rebounded, the sequel of a college romance film Ishq Vishk, released in 2003.
