But after a few years, she realized that her true calling was fashion. In 2009, she took a fashion styling course and quit her job to travel to Florence for a three-week program. After the course, she moved to Mumbai to pursue her dream career and landed her first job with Grazia after several cold calls to various companies.

Meghna's inspiration comes from a wide range of sources, such as her grandfather, old photographs, antique furniture, sunlight, water, and pastel colors. All these elements give her a fresh perspective and help her innovate in fashion. She keeps herself updated with the latest fashion trends and reads fashion-related news whenever she has a specific project to work on. She uniquely designs her clothes by modifying them or changing things around. In college, she designed her first styled outfit, a sari with pants, which became a trend many years later. She believes in keeping it simple and sharp to stand out in the crowd.
