Kumud Chuggani is an actress known for her work in the Bollywood Film industry. She was an honors graduate and a trained Kathak and Bharathnatyam dancer. The story is based on Dhyanu Bhagat, a devotee of Sherawali Mata. Also, it features the time when the Mughal invader Akbar visited barefoot to pay homage to Sherawali Mata. He provided a golden Chata (umbrella) for her temple. Apart from working as an actress, Kumud also appeared in a few songs of the 60s era.
