Arun Ranjankar

Arun Ranjankar is an Indian actor, director, and writer. He completed his graduation from Mithibai College in Mumbai. During college days, he used to participate in college plays. He belonged to a middle-class family. His determination and enthusiasm landed him in television as well as the film industry. 

Arun showed early signs of success. At the age of twenty, he had won seventy-six awards for acting. Awards and appreciation were only due to his rigorous hard work. He was able to assist celebrated directors such as Arjun Pandit and Priyadashi for film assignments. His first as a director was Saas Bina Sasuraal for SONY TV. He has also directed a Gujarati play ‘Chhel Chabila.'

Arun is married to television actress Ambika Ranjankar, who portrays the character of Komal Hathi in blockbuster show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Cheshma’. Arun and Ambika have a son.

Arun might have always been behind the lens in small screen, but he acted in two Bollywood films. These movies are ‘Bachke Rehna Re Baba (2005)’ and ‘Mrugjal…EkNaslelaAstitya (2002)’.

Arun has always believed that direction is not bossing actors rather it’s bossing the script. His dream is to direct a movie one day. His serious approach towards his work acts as a fuel to achieve his targets.
