Saghar Sehrai is an Indian actor, singer, and most notably, a gifted poet. He has delivered several Urdu poems at Kashmiri events. His most recent performance as an actor was in the film "

," where he starred as Haji Saab. The movie revolves around the migration of Kashmiri Pandits. He was also featured in the web series "Avrodh"Â as Siddiq Rehman. The show's plot is based on the Uri attack in 2016 and the Line of Control strike. He has also appeared in a drama series called Sawalon K Gehro me, in which the plot revolves around education in Kashmir and how it has been impacted by stone- pelting.
He also starred in the film Ziryat, which has received numerous international accolades and has been screened at film festivals worldwide. The film received awards at the Los Angeles New Wave International Picture Festival (2011) the Hollywood Fame Walk International Film Festival (2011)Â and was selected for a special showing as a spiritual film at the Dhaka International Film Festival and has won many awards.
