Navpreet Moti

Navpreet Moti is a freelance actor and Theatre artist based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was born on 9 September 1989 in Dudhan Sadhan, a small village in Punjab, and raised in Patiala. He holds a degree in Bachelor’s in Arts from Punjab University. Later, he completed his Master’s in Theatre Arts from Atma Ram Kumar Sabha School. He started his career as a freelance actor in 2014 and later became an entrepreneur for Moti Films from 2021 onwards.

Navpreet became popular after the release of the film Vilom (2020), which is a story about a lonely, isolated young man from India, who is obsessed with becoming internet-famous and deeply confused about his sexuality. The movie was directed and written by Sundar Pal, and the audience loved the acting of Navpreet. In 2022, he starred in another major hit ‘Still Water Go Deep,’ directed by Harry Chauhan and Manjo Chaudhary. The movie won the Lift-Off Global Network Award, London (2023), for Best Feature Film and was nominated for other categories including Best Cinematography, Best Director, Best Editing and Post Production, First Time Filmmaker, Leading Actor, and Art Director.

The film was also nominated for the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award for Best Feature Film, in 2023. Navpreet has also acted in movies, such as The Last Act Click to look into! >> Read More... (2012), Umeed Nai Subha Ki (2016), and Ross (2017). He has also shown his talent for acting and has played an important character in a play called The Last Slap. Besides, he is highly skilled in Direction, Scriptwriting, Acting, and Theatre training.
