But due to the tremendous acting and brilliant story, this serial of his became popular not only among the children but also among the elders.  Junior G was a superhero themed TV show, which was tele casted on Doordarshan in the early 2000s. In the 90s, this superhero based show created a stir. This show was one of the most successful shows of that era, whose every character was settled in the minds of the people ... and the character of Junior G was such that it made a place in the hearts of children to elders. Amitesh Kochhar's fan following increased tremendously after 'Junior G'. But the people of Amitesh Kochhar and his Junior G Act are still crazy. According to the reports, 'Junior G' was Amitesh's last show.

Amitesh Kochhar did not do any other show after this show nor did he appear in the public circuit. Junior G  was the story of Gaurav (Amitesh), a poor and orphan child, who gets a magical ring. With the help of this ring, he could become Superhero Junior G anytime. According to a report, a total of 156 episodes of the show were telecast. Ghanshyam Pathak was its director, while the story was written by Sanatan Nehru Srikkanth.
