Madhav Ramanuj, also known as Madhav Odhavdas Ramanuj, is a respectable and renowned Gujarati Poet. He was born on 22 April, 1945 in Pachchham, Bombay, India. His father was Odhavdas Ramanuj. He got married to Lalita and the couple were blessed with two children Deepti and Neha. Madhav has pursued the Diploma of Arts from Sheth C.N. College of Fine Arts. Madhav worked as a professor at Sheth C.N. College and retired as the principal of the same college. He was also the Editor of Akhand Anand in 1969. He worked with a publication house named Vora and Co. Madhav was the president of Gandharv Sangeet Vidyalaya Trust and Gujarati Sahitya Parishad.
He also worked as the head of the Human Resource Department of Institute Kidney Diseases and Research Centre at Ahmedabad. Madhav was the greatest poet of that time, he published several remarkable pieces which is still read by the readers worldwide. A Few of his works are Tame (You; 1972), Aksharnu Ekant (1997), and Anhadnu Ekant (2013). He also wrote a biographical piece on Reuben David, the founder of the Ahmedabad Zoo called Pinjarni Aarpar (1990). He also worked as a lyrist for a few Gujarati Films. Being an extremely talented person, he received some recognizable awards for his works like Narsinh Mehta Award (2012) and Sahitya Gaurav Puraskar Award.
