Vipul Sharma

Born on 4th June 1975, Vipul Sharma is an Indian Film Director, Writer and Screen Writer known for his work in the Gujarati Film Industry. He finished schooling in 1990. Vipul always admired the work of art films on Doordarshan and aspired to work in the film industry. At a certain point, he abdicated his BSc degree and pursued Diploma in Drama. Vipul completed his post-graduation in Development Communication. He started in the film industry as an artist, later a playwright, and eventually became a director. He directed some incredible theatrical plays from 1995 to 2015. Some of his more well-known plays include Family No. 1, No Exit, Hun J Maro Vidhata, and many more.

He debuted as a director in 2005 with the Gujarati Romantic Film Love is Blind. The movie won several accolades and awards, including the best film and best director awards. In 2014, he directed the Drama Film, Deshbook. Later in 2020, he directed the critically acclaimed film ‘Kem Chho?’. The movie won several coveted awards at various Gujarati Film Festivals across the world. Vipul also has prominent work in TV serials. He has written and directed over 12 TV shows for various Gujarati Channels. He is seen and recognised as a well-renowned and revered director of the Gujarati Film Industry.
