Srijla was given birth in Mexico, North America. When she was quite young, she came back to India with her parents and was raised in India. She did her schooling in Darjeeling and went to Kolkata for further studies.
She learned Bengali naturally because of the atmosphere at her home. Her first step toward becoming an actress was when she started modeling in Kolkata and Mumbai. Currently, she is working as an Actress in the Tollywood Film Industry. She made her debut in the industry by acting in an Odia film Aa Aaa Harsaee, released in 2015.
