Manoj Murali Nair is a singer and orator. He is from Kerala. He grew up in Shantiniketan, and it is referred to as Tagore Territory. Both his parents are dancers. Manoj has two siblings, a sister Manisha and a brother Manish. He has a master’s degree in Hindustani Classical Music. He has sung Bengali songs. He is quite inspired by Rabindranath Tagore and sees him as an idol. He has been singing for more than a decade and has made Rabindrasangeet popular among youngsters. Manisha, Manish and he (Manoj) used to perform at different Durga Puja Cultural Programmes around Shantiniketan. Manoj's first album was "Dakhino Pabane."

In an interview, Manisha mentioned that Manoj is a little too strict. He likes to do everything with perfection. By looking at his work, anyone can confirm that he is quite a perfectionist.
