Sekhar Adhikari is a known hairstylist in Bengali Industry. He is also known as the President of the hair stylist Guild. For several years, he worked in the film industry. He was experienced in make-up as well. He always regarded the people on the sets as his own family. He worked as the hairstylist for the cast in movies such as Ahaa Re, Bondhon, Byomkesh Phire Elo, Dutta vs Dutta, Iti Mrinalini: an Unfinished letter, Abar Byomkesh in 2010, Chaowa Pawa, Saat Pake Bandha, and in 1998 as an assistant hairstylist. He worked for the film Chowdhary Paribar. He died in 2020 after battling with throat cancer. He was over 60. Throughout his career, he never looked back and worked hard as a hairstylist. His skill in shaping any character-whether mythical, historical, ordinary or fashionable-makes the character’s appearance extraordinary. From how a character’s eyes or hair should look, he mastered every detail by the end.
