is a trendy movie by the serial director S. V. Solairaja. This film has Sanjeev, Sethna and Sampath. The director Solairaja is the producer too. The music is scored by Sriram Vijay.
This is the second movie for the hero Sanjeev, whose debut is Kulir 360 degrees. Sethna is making her debut in this movie Neeyum Naanum. We already know Sampath as a villain in many films, including Thamirabarani, Saroja, Arai En 305 Kadavul and many more movies.
Neeyum Naanum story deals with two students and a teacher wants to solve all the issues smoothly. Sampath is a correspondent of a school. His son is also a student in the school. Heroine Sethna is the classmate of Sampath’s son and he says that he is in love with her. But Sethna did not accept his love. Sanjeev joins the school as a dance teacher. He is in friendship with a boy Karthik, who lost his parents. Sanjeev gets impressed with his English and insists him to join in the school and continue his education. An interschool dance competition is announced with prize money in Lakhs. At the same time, Karthik’s mother suffers from severe health problems and in need of the money for treatment. Sanjeev wants to help Karthik and joins him in the school team. But Sampath and his son are against this and force Sanjeev to resign from the job. Sanjeev gets the dance master job in a government school and joins Karthik too. Will Karthik win the competition? Will his mother survive is the rest of the story. To make the scene interesting, the director had made Karthik to faint before the competition starts. This film is a mixture of many dance special movies. Master Rinson and Sachin have performed entirely well. Sanjeev and Sethna did their roles perfectly, as per the directions of Solairaja. But why the director has wasted the talent of Sampath, the skilled actor; instead the director might have used some other people for that role.
Neeyum Naanum is not up to the expectation of the viewers.
