Kurukshethram” is a mythological film directed by Naganna. Muniratna MLA produced the movie. Darshan Thoogudeepa played the lead role in this film. V Ravichandran, Arjun Sarja, “Sneha,” “Ambareesh,” Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Nikhil Kumar, Meghna Raj, P Ravishankar, Sonu Sood, “Haripriya,” Ravishankar Gowda, Remya Nambeesan and Dinakar Thoogudeepa are in the supporting star cast. “V Harikrishna” composed the songs and BGM. The film is based on Mahabharata and it is narrated from Duryodhanan’s point of view. Duryodhanan’s friendship with Karna is one of the crucial aspects of the film. Duryodhana’s court, his enmity towards Pandavas and Draupadi’s vow are among the critical moments in the movie. Watch the film in theaters and enjoy the performance of the stars!

Star Performance

Darshan has given a neat performance. Arjun lived as Karna. Sneha played Draupadi. She excelled in the emotional scenes. Ravichandran, Ravishankar and Ambareesh received accolades for their performance.

The screenplay is good and it is quick too. Narration by the director is superb. With the huge star cast, the makers had given equal roles to almost all the supporting stars. All the stars fit in the roles and impress the viewers. The 3D is not impressive and it didn’t do any magic. The songs and the BGM are good. The camera angles are okayish.

What’s There?

  • The stars had given a decent performance
  • Star casting is good
  • Screenplay is perfect

What’s Not There?

  • 3D quality is not up to the mark

Although Kurukshethram is a dubbed film, it has a neat star cast and sound performances. Although it is not technically impressive, it will be a treat for the historical movie fans!
