Bhoot Police is a horror comedy film scripted and directed by Pavan Kirpalani. Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri produced the film. Jaya Krishna Gummadi cranked the camera, and Pooja Ladha Surti edited the film. Sachin–Jigar composed the music. The film features Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam, Jacqueline Fernandez, Javed Jaffrey, Rajpal Yadav, Amit Mistry, Jamie Lever, Saurabh Sachdeva, Yashaswini Dayama, Girish Kulkarni, and Rupesh Tillu.

Vibhooti and Chiraunji are involved in demon capturing. Maya and Kanu are sisters who were wealthy and now bankrupt. They have a property that is said to be haunted. So, the sisters hire these brothers to send the spirits in their property out. Vibhooti is a jolly type and Chiraunji is just opposite to his brother and concentrates only on his work to maintain the legacy of his dad. Were they able to help Maya and Kanu? The rest of the story speaks about this.

Star Performance

Arjun Kapoor did his best and so does Yami Gautam. They fit well in the roles and did justice to the given character. Saif and Jacqueline appear cool, and they make the audience feel that they are also in the film.

We can’t say it as a usual script, yet not so unique or special. The characters should have been designed well. Although Maya and Chiraunji are perfectly made, the other two leads appear as if they don’t have any connection with this story. The director should have concentrated well on this part. Although Saif is excellent in his dialogue delivery and performance, his character makes us feel that it should have been developed further. Although the comedy worked out in parts, the attempt by Saif is genuine.

What’s There?

  • Arjun Kapoor did a good job

What’s Not There?

  • The characters should have been developed well

A lot of logical loopholes

With umpteen stories in this horror-comedy genre releasing every week, the audience will get bored. If the execution is not good, then people will start sidelining this genre. Although the performances of the leads are quite decent, the film is not a must-watch!
