Plot
Right from his childhood, Vikram Batra dreams of becoming an Army officer. He takes the initiative, puts in his efforts to become the best army officer. His efforts bring him an opportunity to serve the nation. With his dedication, he was directed to face the Pakistan army in the Kargil conflict. Was he successful with his operations? The efforts he made and his love towards the nation form the rest of the story.
Star Performance
Sidharth fits perfectly in the role and impresses the audience. Kiara Advani has done her part well. Yet, the makers should have cared well about the accent. Shiv Pandit and Nikitin Dheer did a good job.
Analysis
While taking a biographical subject, the director had to carry a huge burden on his shoulders. Vishnu did a good job; yet, some of the scenes needed a quirky narration. Similarly, the dialogue coach should have dealt with the accent pretty neatly. It is one of the important drawbacks. Certain romantic scenes seem to derail the main plot. The artists are picked properly and placed in the right roles. The background music is good, and the visuals are impressive. The team should be appreciated for creating an impressive climax that brings Goosebumps.
