Katta Subba Rao was a Telugu director born on 3 January 1940. He directed movies that depicted the relationships of Indian families, concerning issues and romance between naughty husbands & wives, Indian marriages, sons-in-law, mothers-in-law, daughters-in-law, etc. In 1979, he worked in Dasha Tiringindi, and Viyyalavaari Kayyalu. In 1980, he worked in Mogudu Kaavali, Bangaaru Bava, Kodallostunnaru Jagratta, Konte Mogudu – Penki Pellam, Pelli Gola, and Life of Sunhoo Park. In 1981, he worked in Srirasthu Subhamasthu, Alludugaaru Zindabad, Gadasari Atta Sogasari Kodalu, and Gharana Gangulu. In 1982, he worked in Vayyari Bhamalu Vagalamari Bhartalu, and Korukunna Mogudu. In 1983, he worked in Akka Mogudu chelleli Kapuram. In 1984, he worked in Punyam Koddi Purushudu. He passed away on 12 July 1988.
