Bindhumalini is a singer who is popular for her singing. She has a beautiful voice that takes you to your dreams.She has a powerful voice. Bindhumalini is a double graduate. She has done graduation in art and music as well from Loyola. She has done post-graduation from NID. She is a granddaughter of “Kalaimani Seetha Doraiswamy.”

Bindhumalini comes from a musical background, and her whole family is engaged in art and music which were their way of life instead of something one did. Bindhumalini was interested in art and music since her childhood. She used to make new and innovative things from the junk or remains of things. She used to paint on barks, branches, bent wires, back of calendars to make figures, etc. After seeing her experiments, her family encouraged her and was also amused at the same time. Her main influence was her sister who had a beautiful sketch book full of cartoons, doodles, themes and funky punch lines. Her sister was very creative. Bindhumalini got inspiration from her sister and always wanted to be like her.

Bindhumalini travels around India and performs the songs of Kabir and many other saints of India. She also teaches music. She has also performed a unique sharing named “Akatha Kahani” in the form of dance, song, and stories of Kabir along with her two sisters. Bindhumalini knows her creative capabilities and dreams of seeing herself performing in all the corners of the world.

She loves to act, and dance too. She wants to do some challenging roles in the movies. When she was a child, she was confused about her career. She always came up with new aspirations every day. She wanted to be famous and a bus conductor as well. According to her being a bus conductor is the most fascinating and challenging job as a bus conductor has to manage a lot including coins, notes, tickets, quickly collecting money and folding them to put them between their finger, a whistle, and a pen tucked behind the ear. She also used to play a game of collecting tickets. She also wrote a poem about this.

She was greatly impacted and influenced by the poems of Kabir. Bindhumalini’s most popular album name was “Suno Bhai” which is a collection of poems of Kabir. It has songs like Avadhoota, Bhajo Re Bhaiya, etc. and was released in the year 2013.
