Sushil Dahiya is a versatile Indian actor, voice-makeover artist, tour director, and English teacher. He is known for playing the father of Himmat Singh (portrayed by Sunny Kaushal) in Reema Kagti’s biographical sports drama “Gold” (2018), starring Akshay Kumar, which is based on Indian hockey team’s medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics.
He made his debut as Brigadier Brar in Maneesh Sharma’s blockbuster rom-com “Band Baaja Baaraat” (2010). His performance in the film substantiated his skill as an actor, leading him to a plethora of super hit movies, including “No One Killed Jessica” (2011), “Rockstar” (2011), “Pink” (2016), “Uri: The Surgical Strike” (2019) , “Falsafa” (2019) and “No Fathers in Kashmir” (2019). He also featured in a supporting role in the second episode of Amazon’s critically acclaimed web series “Made in Heaven” (2019).
