Shinjinee Chakraborty is a recognised Indian model and actress who predominantly works in Bangla television series. She was born in Howrah, West Bengal, India, on August 13th. Her father’s name is Shantanu Chakrabartee. Shinjinee made her acting debut in the Bangla television drama series called Uma, where she played the lead role of Uma Acharya alongside Neel Bhattacharya.
Uma aired on Zee Bangla and premiered on 13 September 2021. The series is about a young woman who wanted to be a cricketer professionally. But, she is forced to give up on her dream due to familial obligations. However, her passion for the game pushes her to realise her ambition. The series is directed by Piyush Ghosh Arghya Roy and produced by Tent cinema. Additionally, Shinjinee has also appeared in various commercial campaigns
