Amit Mitra is a music composer, director, and producer based in Kolkata, West Bengal. He predominantly works in the Bengali film and television industry. He was born on 12 August 1988 and owns his production company called Amit Acharyya Films. He graduated from the Haringhata Mahavidyalaya in 2011.
