Its story follows the life of an independent and isolated woman who pretentiously shows love, care, and empathy to others but, deep down, hides dark secrets. Rukhsana is the central character of this series. She appears to be loving and caring but internally resents her in-laws. Driven by hatred, Rukhsana manipulates everyone in the family and plants doubts or Wehem in their minds. She behaves poorly towards her brother-in-law, Khawar. Years ago, her husband, Anwar, went to Hyderabad and never returned, while Khawar did not even try to find him. She holds him responsible for her husband’s disappearance. She also manipulates her mother-in-law into thinking that she interferes in her son’s matters and that she is insane. She even knocks on her door and windows in the middle of the night and adds extra chilly to her food to prove her craziness.

Eshal and the second son of Rukhsana, Junaid, love each other and later get married. However, Rukhsana had problems with her because she was the daughter of Khawar, her so-called nemesis. The first daughter-in-law of Rukhsana had already given up due to her manipulations. However, Eshal decided to challenge her in her own game. Eshal also started planting doubts in Rukhsana’s mind for the betterment of her family. But will everyone know about the true colors of Rukhsana? What happened with Anwar? Why is Rukhsana acting like this with her family? All of this unfolds at the end of the series.
