Music acts like water in the scorching heat, and singers are the ones who make music so soothing. How can we talk about singers without mentioning Tara Mahmood? Tara Mahmood is a singer and actress who predominantly works for Pakistan Film Industry and Pakistani dramas. Born on 27 June 1972 in Karachi, Tara was recognized by people after her supporting role in popular films like Seedlings (2012) and Good Morning Karachi (2013). Tara’s popularity didn’t end here; in fact, this was just the beginning. Her performance was highly appreciated in drama serials like Muhabbat Subha Ka Sitara and Diyar-e-dil.

Later, she kept on doing other roles and gradually made a place in the heart of people. In 2014, Tara became the lead vocalist of the band Rushk, replacing Nazia Zuberi with her magical voice. Tara is the daughter of politician Shafqat Mehmood who is presently the Federal Minister of Education and National Heritage. Her music genre includes Rock, Jazz, Funk, and R&B.
