It features the story of a female aspiring doctor who wants to open a hospital in her village because her parents died due to the absence of proper medical care.

Its story revolves around Khajistah Dilawar Khan. She is a young Pashtun orphan student from Swat and wants to become a doctor. She is engaged to her cousin, Darakhzai Khan. Her fiancé, although arrogant and uninterested in higher studies, loves her deeply. However, our heroine had no feelings for him. On the other hand, due to the brotherly love and support of Amroz, Khajistah convinces her family members to go and study medicine in the city. Amroz is the elder brother of Darakhzai and the husband of Shanzay.

Now, in the city hospital, she meets Dr. Hadi Sheharyar and his cousin and fiancé, Aima. Hadi started falling for Khajistah, which angered Aima. So, she conspires with Hasan, the younger brother of Hadi, to harm Khajistah. After some time, their team of doctors goes to Khajistah’s area for a field trip. There, her fiancé became jealous after seeing her helping other men and took her away, much to the anger of Hadi. Khajistah returned with her hospital team, and Darakhzai started missing her. He changes for good for Khajistah and decides to build a hospital in the name of Khajistah.

Later, before the convocation ceremony, Aima and Hasan successfully frame Khajistah for doing drugs. She sadly gives a speech about the dilemma of village students in the city and leaves. Hadi came to know about the truth and confronts his brother Hasan. His brother exposes all the plans of Aima against the village girl, making everyone hate her. 

In the hometown of Khajistah, everyone is busy preparing for her marriage, and she notices the positive changes in Darakhzai. Later, Sanober, her servant, added poison to Kalakand, her favorite sweet. The servant did it because she loved Darakhzai and did not want him to marry Khajistah. But Darakhzai ate the poisoned sweet instead and died on the spot. At first, everyone blamed Behram Khan, their old nemesis, for this tragedy. Later, Sanober came clean to Darakhzai’s mother, making Amroz befriend Behram again.

The father of Amroz suggests him to marry Khajistah. He refused because he was already married and about to become a father soon. Aima tries to ask for forgiveness, but no one forgives her. Later, Hadi leaves for America without reconciling with Aima and Hasan. 

Six years later, Khajistah works in the Darakhzai Hospital, made by her fiance in her area. She also named the son of Amroz Darakhzai. Hadi is still living in America and catches up with his father now and then. Hasan is married with a three-year-old son and decides to take his family to the mountains for vacation. There, his wife fell and got hurt. He took her to the same hospital as Khajistah and reunited with her. He also tries to convince her to bring Hadi back from America, which she declines. He also got to know from Amroz about the tragic death of Darakhzai.

Hasan plans to bring Hadi back. He tricked him into helping in a hospital in the Northern areas with the help of a professor. There, Hadi indeed reunites with Khajistah. Both of them later opened a heart center in the mountains. Hasan asks for forgiveness from both of them, and Hadi hugs him, forgiving his mistakes. In the end, Khajistah and Hadi are walking together in a forest, having fun, implying that they are now married and living happily together.
