The show features a complicated family drama that starts with a tragic incident. The story revolves around the life of a married young woman with a just-born baby. In the show, Sadaf’s husband abandons her, and her just-born daughter, Hira. Her second husband dislikes Hira, Sadaf’s daughter and even though he is in love with Sadaf, he can’t quite get along with Hira. Seher is the husband’s daughter and she does not accept Sadaf as her mother too.

So here we have a picture-perfect family : two daughters with their parents and step-parents. So it is pretty evident that just because they live together, they are not a ‘family.’ Things take a dark turn when Seher marries Shehryar, who turns out to be the ex-husband of Sadaf. Seher is a cunning girl who has married Shehryar for his money. What happens when Shehryar re-enters the life of Sadaf? How does Hira react to all of this? The rest of the story deals with that.
