Javeria Abbasi

Javeria Abbasi is a well-known Pakistani model-turned-film and television actress. She was born on December 29, 1972, in Karachi, Sindh in Pakistan to a middle-class family. Her father is a writer while her mother hails from a family of herbal pharmacists. She started her career as a model and began acting in the year 2006. One evening during college, she got invited to an acting challenge show, and that’s when she realized what she wanted in her life. 

She later joined the show and won the challenge. After that, she finds herself hosting that individual show without realizing that her experience from there will be the start of her excellent career as an actress.

Javeria debuted in the television family drama serial, Dil, Diya, Dehleez, which was aired on Hum TV Pakistan in the year 2006. She acted in the lead role where she earned fame and success. Later, she worked in the television serial, Thodi Si Khusiyan, a story that revolves on love and passion, aired on Hum TV. 

In the year 2008, Javeria played the role of Sofia in the Pakistani drama series, Doraha on Geo Entertainment. This was followed by her appearances in TV serials Andata, Tere Liye Tere Liye is a popular Hindi TV series broadcasted >> Read More... and Sotayli. She was also seen on ARY Digital serials like Phir Kho Jayye Na and Phool Wali Gali. Javeria was later seen on PTV serials such as Maamta, Chahatain and the Pakistani teledrama, Kaash Main Teri Beti Na Hoti. Her performance in the drama series, Najia gained her a nomination for Best Actress at the Lux Style Awards. Javeria shifted from Karachi to Lahore when she hosted the morning television show, Meri Subha Haseen Hai on Aplus TV.

The film was released in the year 2014. Some years ago, Javeria met with an accident that left some marks on her body until now. Luckily, she fully recovered from that tragic accident.
