Kalyan is the eldest in their house, and Lakshmi, Krishnaveni, Lavanya, and Chitti are his sisters. He takes care of them as a parent. He wishes to marry the girl whom his sisters choose. His sisters chose Janaki for their brother. Janaki has a step-sister, Nandini, who loves Kalyan. Nandini and her mother treat Janaki poorly. When Janaki requests Kalyan’s sisters to choose her as their sister-in-law, they reject her proposal. This increases her envy. Janaki marries Kalyan, and they are blessed with a son, Kishore. Nandini challenges Janaki that she will not let her sisters-in-law get married, as they spoiled her marriage with Kalyan. How they manage her troubles and succeed in life forms the rest of the story.
