The Nandi Awards honor people who achieved great success in Telugu film, theatre, TV, and Indian cinema industries. It is given out every year by the Andhra Pradesh government. There are four categories to choose from - Swarnam (Gold), Rajatham (Silver), Kamsham (Bronze), and Ragi (Silver/Bronze). Plus, the government also gives out a special award each year for drama, social, mythological, and poetry.

Best Character Actress- Jaya Sudha-Yuvakudu
Best Child Actor- Master Subhakar-Hindustan - the mother
Best Child Actress- Baby Zeeba-Hindustan - the mother
Best Cinematographer- Ashok Kumar-Sri
