1. S. Janaki
As popularly known, The Nightingale of South, S. Janaki was born as Sishtla Sreeramamurthy on 23rd April 1938 in Repalle, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Her childhood love for music turned out to be her talent, and she started performing at a tender age of three. Her voice is compared to Lata Mangeshkar, and Janaki has a large fan following because of her mesmerising voice that can connect your soul to any song. She learnt music from Sree Paidiswamy, who was a nadaswaram teacher. When Janaki was 20 years of age, her uncle Dr Chandrasekhar advised her to move to Chennai and join AVM studios. Her voice got recognition as a playback singer in Tamil films. Her debut as a playback singer was a Tamil flick, Vidhiyin Vilayattu (1957). She has sung over 40,000 songs in various languages.

Kovai Sarala is an actress who acted in more than 750 films in her career spanning for over 25 years. She has acted in Tamil (even Telugu films) and had joined films as she was the sole bread earner in the family. Many feel that she filled the void left by Manorma and she is the only actress who had stepped in her( Manorama) shoes. In this film industry, Sarala could carry scenes on her own merits. There was a time; she would be seen in every successful movie (just as Manorama) during 1980-90s. Looking back at her career, she played a 55-year old character in Chinna Veedu( her second film) when she was just a teenager. Everyone had wondered how she played that role. She even played the unforgettable character of Palani as Kamal Haasan’s wife in Balu Mahendra’s Sathi Leelavathi. Telugu film director G.Ram Prasad belongs to Guntur area of Andhra Pradesh, India. He left for Madras to become a movie director in 1988. From the beginning, he is very dedicated and hard working guy. He went on searching for opportunities which make him a director. He came to know that no one can become a movie director at once. So, he joined as the assistant to B.Gopal. B.Gopal was working on the film Aswardhama then. B.Gopal was mesmerized by Ram Prasad's dedication to the work. For his sincerity towards filmy works, both of them worked till Gopal completed Samara Simha Reddy. It happens only when the director and the assistant work with the same mindset. From assistant, Ram Prasad grew to the position of co-director by the time Samara Simha Reddy hit the screens.

Trivikram Srinivas, a Telugu director and writer, who brought out a need for new marketing strategy for Telugu film makers. He had always presented and structured to carve out the original marketing plan that was required in Tollywood then. His clever promotion strategies than he had planned, for example, for a film like’’ Athadu’’, he made the film in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages. Later, the same film was dubbed into Polish language for Poland people. The film’s satellite in Telugu circuit was sold to a whooping sum of $45 million then, and it became the top grosser in 2005. His next flick in 2008 was Jalsa which had released in 1000 theatres and the film grossed $220 million in just 50 days. Later on, he continued with the same formula for Khaleja (2010) which did not meet the same expectation which he had, the film became just an average grosser. This filmmaker had always pitched or his every film project according to his audiences, and then went to define a target audience for his project’s promotional strategy. But why was drawn to such marketing? Because, his first film Nuvve Nuvve’’ was superhit which had new comer Tarun Kumar and Shriya Saran playing the lead. Success of this film really inspired the director to bring a new trend in marketing films. He has directed many stars of Tollywood such as Mahesh Babu, Trisha, Pawan Kalyan, Ileana D'Cruz, Allu Arjun, Upendra, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who were just ultimate superstars. Although he was a dialogue writer he had penned lyrics ( film Oka Raju Oka Rani) and rendered his voice too for his own film “Nuvve Nuvve”.

Prakash Raj, born on 26th of March, 1965, as Prakash Rai, in Bangalore, is an actor, director, and producer. He is also a television presenter and has worked in films of many languages. He is best known for his work in the film industry of South India, and for playing roles of a villain in quite a few Bollywood films. He hails from a Tulu and Kannada-speaking household and is fluent in various other languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu. He also has an actor brother named Prasad Raj. He studied at St. Joseph’s Boy’s School, and subsequently, at St. Joseph’s College of Commerce. Both institutions are in Bangalore. Prakash has three children, Meghana, Pooja, and Sidhu, from his earlier marriage to the actress Lalitha Kumari. His son, unfortunately, passed away in the year 2004. He is currently married to the choreographer Pony Verma. In the first few years of his career, he worked in Kannada Doordarshan, doing serials like Guddada Bhootha, and he also acted in supporting roles in Kannada movies like Nishkarsha.
