Sundari lives with her son Rajarathnam, daughter-in-law Kaveri, and grandchildren. Rajarathnam respects her and cares for her. But he doesn’t allow her to go anywhere, considering her age. Kaveri is such a good singer, but after her marriage, she doesn’t sing. Niveditha, Kaveri and Rajarathnam’s daughter, is a cricketer. She is in love with Karthik, who wants her to quit her career for his family, as they wish their daughter-in-law only to be a homemaker.
