Panjum Neruppum is an Indian drama web show premiered in 2023 on Hungama Play. It is a Tamil language show about Venba as she finds herself in an unexpected dilemma. Venba is an attractive, ambitious, and intellectual woman. She belongs to a small village in Tamil Nadu and lives with her parents. Venba is fed up with her conservative and orthodox family. She is in a secret relationship with a guy from Chennai. However, she didn't disclose her affair to her parents. Venba knows her father will get furious about her dating an unemployed man. Later, when Venba has an argument, she tells her parents about the Chennai guy. Venba's father gets angry and commands her to break all ties with the man.

Panjum Neruppum follows the life of Venba as she discovers the challenging path ahead for her. The story escalates when Venba decides to leave her home and move to Chennai. She informs the guys and he acts delighted; however, he's worried about the expenses. Venba's boyfriend is an aspiring filmmaker who's awaiting a golden opportunity to kick-start his career in the film industry. Venba calls her brother who lives in Chennai to arrange for her to stay in the city. However, she was disheartened to learn that she can’t stay with her brother because he lives in a boys hostel. Later, she requests him to lend her money to survive in the city until her boyfriend manages a place for them to live together.

Venba’s brother finds himself in an unpleasant situation as he doesn't have money to lend to her sister but wants to help her. He decides to borrow some money from his friends---all attempts in vain. As Venba’s brother was wandering the streets, he saw a man at the bus stand and decided to steal his phone. Venba's brother was successful in his theft and sold the phone to lend money to his sister. The twist develops when Venba meets her brother at the bus stand and introduces him to her boyfriend. Venba's brother realizes he stole his sister’s boyfriend's phone. What will happen next?
