Daddy Arumugam Samayal is a cookery tv show first aired on Sun Life, and then later it was aired on Sun TV as well in the Tamil language. In the show, there is an older man named Arumugam, who cooks food on a large scale. It's unlike any other cookery show that has a great set and a host who cooks for two to 4 people in a kitchen and then tells everything step by step and then does tell many steps. In this show, there is only an older man cooking food on a large scale in a village-style. He cooks food on a Culha using wood and other things.
He does not use any modern techniques to cook his food. In the show, he mostly cooks traditional Tamil foods, and most of them are non veg. The show starts with him introducing what he is going to cook today. And then tells what one should do if one wants to cook like him.
