.’ It was released on 12th April 2021 and aired at 6 pm(Monday – Saturday) on Star Vijay. The show tells the story of Rani Velu Nachiyar(3rd January 1703 – 25th December 1796). She was a queen of the Sivaganga estate from 1780 – 1790.
She was the first Indian queen to wage war against the notorious East India Company in India. She is also known as Veeramangai by Tamil. The show focuses on depicting her life and how brave a queen she was. The show depicts her rule as a queen and displays her acts of bravery against all odds and her intelligence which helped the kingdom to flourish under her rule.
