. Abhinaya is an educated woman who believes in following the traditions of culture, while Vetri is a village goon who holds no respect for any tradition whatsoever.
Although it is later revealed that Vetri is quite educated, it still does nothing to bridge the gap between them created by their differences. Vetri is ignorant about the significance of marriage rituals when Abhinaya helps a young couple to marry in the temple. Enraged with each other, Vetri performs the rituals in a rush and ‘accidentally’ marries Abhinaya. Abhinaya gets horrified by the act and even though enraged, Vetri regrets his decisions. Whether the two can settle their differences and setbacks and unite as a couple forms the rest of the story.
