Punitha is a Tamil serial that started airing on Sun TV on 14th October 2024, every Monday to Saturday at 12 PM. ANS Entertainment produced the series.
Punitha is the favourite child of Maragathavalli. She showers a lot of love over Punitha. She doesn’t make Punitha feel that she is her step-daughter. Punitha is also very fond of her mother and never speaks against her. Thenmuganambi is Maragatham’s husband. Saravanan and Manikandan are the sons of Thenmuganambi and Maragatham. Balambika is the adopted daughter of Thenmuganambi. Maragatham’s younger son doesn’t like Punitha, as everyone praises her for her down-to-earth nature and care for everyone. Thenmuganambi has a younger sister, Thenmozhi. She is married to Koodalazhagar and has a daughter, Deivanai. Maragatham has an elder brother. He is married to Manimekalai and has two children, a son, and a daughter, Yazhini. Kabilan enters the life of Punitha and both fall in love. Will Maragatham let her daughter marry Kabilan and move to his house? The rest of the story deals with how Punitha shoulders her family, and manages all the hurdles, and keep her family united.
