Eventually, Khushi gives birth to the daughter of Sima, Anjali. After they settle in the family, both sisters face many challenges. Rohini accidentally kills a woman named Sunaina. Vikrant, the husband of Sunaina, keeps a condition to let go of Rohini.

Sima agrees to Vikrant’s condition and fakes her death in front of her in- laws. This serial leaps for two years. Sima starts living with Vikrant and looking after his daughter. Meanwhile, Rohini takes care of Sima’s daughter. Sima and the Bhardwaj family cross paths once again. Together, they find the real culprit behind the death of Sunaina. Later, Vikrant gets arrested for attempting to kill Prem. After this incident, Sanjana gets adopted by Sima and Prem. The serial then introduces a supernatural aspect in the storyline. Rohini dies while saving Sima. The serial ends with Sima leaving her house with her son Piyush. The child cursed with darkness. The series comes under the genres of fantasy, supernatural, and drama.
