The Marathi film actress was born on 19 February 1990 and brought up in Pune, Maharashtra. She has been a Bharatnatyam dancer since the ripe age of 8. She graduated from Fergusson College, Pune. She stood 3rd in Pune University in M.A. in Psychology degree. She began her career while studying in Fergusson. She is an Indian film actress who has appeared in many Marathi and Hindi films and experimental plays. Early in her career, she was a part of the theatre troupe Aasakta Kalamanch.

A well-known Marathi and Hindi film, television and stage actor, Smita Tambe, was brought up in Pune. After her education, she moved to Mumbai to pursue her dreams of becoming a star in Marathi films.

Neena Kulkarni is a Marathi stage actress who has established her worth in gold through many superb performances on Marathi stage and films. She was born in a family of doctors and both her parents are still practicing doctors.

She had been interested in acting since her childhood and took part in the skits and one act plays when she was as young as 9 years old. She was a regular in such programmes of Makrand society at Mahim in western suburbs of Mumbai where they used to live. Incidentally she still lives in the same society. She completed her graduation from Elphinstone College Mumbai with French as a major. After completing her BA, she took up acing on stage as a full time profession and in due course of time proved herself to be a devoted and committed actress through her performances mostly in Marathi theatre and stage. Her husband Dilip Kulkarni was also an actor and passed away a few years back. Recently she has entered into film production and the first film produced by her company shevai (Marathi) was successful.

Priya Bapat born on 18 September 1986 is an Indian actress child to Sharad and Smita Bapat. She is known mostly for her work in Marathi television serials and Marathi movies. She started her acting career as a child actor in Dr. BabasahebAmbedkar in the role of younger Ramabai. She was later seen in the Marathi filmBhet again as a child actor.

Intro: Iravati Harshe is a veteran actress who started her career with television serials and reached to the heights of Bollywood movies where she worked along with the likes of Kamal Haasan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Iravati Harshe started her acting career in 1990s and her first significant role was for the popular Doordarshan National television serial Shanti where she worked along with Mandira Bedi. Shanti was telecasted in 1994. Some other noted television serials in which she played lead or supporting role include Split Wide Open, Dil Mil Gayye, Sanjivani-A Medical Boon, Kabhi Kabhi, Mrityudand, Tanha, and Achanak 37 Saal Baad. Iravati Harshe is a very talented individual and she is a trained classical dancer with expertise in Bharatanatyam. Because of her multilingual ability, she got the chance to dub for Madhuri Dixit for the French version of movie Dil To Pagal Hai. She appeared as Shah Rukh Khan’s wife in the movie Hey Ram which was released in the year 2000.

Sonali Kulkarni was born in the Marathi-speaking Kulkarni family in Pune, Maharashtra. Her father is an engineer, and she has two siblings, Sandeep and Sandesh. She did her schooling from Abhinava Vidyalaya and graduation from Ferguson College, where she majored in Political Science. Sonali was awarded a scholarship for Marathi literature too. She has impeccable speaking skills in Hindi, Marathi and English and later picked up Gujarati, Italian and Tamil also.

Ketaki Mategaonkar was born on 22 February 1994 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. As a Marathi actress, she has worked in about six movies in Marathi cinema and has a successful career. She is also a playback singer and appeared in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Marathi L’il champs. Ketaki has a very good fan following with above 40k fans on Facebook. Currently, she resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Ramesh Deo is one of the best known actors from India known for his contributions to Indian theatre, television and film. He has also taken on the directorial venture by directing a number of television serials, films, and documentaries.

Monty Sharma was born in India’s financial capital Mumbai, in a family with rich musical tradition. Following the footsteps of his family members, he began learning music at a very tender age, under the direction of his grandfather Pandit Ram Prasad Sharma. Monty is the nephew of Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma, who was himself a famous music director along with his friend Laxmikant. Since his childhood, he had an interest in music; he took formal training in Keyboard playing from Pyarelal Ramprasad.

Rohit Pradhan is a native of Mumbai, Maharashtra. When he was young, he built his interest in Sound Editing and Sound Designing. Vikram Amladi is a cinematographer in Indian Film Industry; he has worked in several languages like Marathi, Konkani, Hindi and Punjabi films. Vikram has done Bachelor’s in Life Sciences and then enrolled himself to do Masters in Communication Studies from the University of Pune. Later he went to the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute in Kolkata to attain a Diploma in Cinematography, after which he set out to build his career on his own by working for advertisements, features films, and documentaries as well.

Nitin Desai is a notable art director and production designer in Bollywood; he is also a TV and Film producer. He was born in Mulund, Mumbai, Maharashtra. He did his schooling from Wamanrao Muranjan High School, Mulund. He learned photography from L S Raheja School of Arts and J J School of Arts. After which he made his entry into films. Nitin started his career by assisting art director Nitish Roy for the TV serial, Tamas (1987); he was the fourth assistant to Roy.

Ganesh Acharya is an Indian choreographer, who is mainly seen in Hindi films. His father Gopi was also a choreographer in Bollywood. When Ganesh Acharya was ten years old, his father died. His sister was at Cuttack and he went there and learnt basic dance from his sister. Later, he joined as an assistant to Kamalji, the famous choreographer. At the young age of 12, he started his own dance troupe. Anaam was his first film as a choreographer. It was released in 1992 and Ganesh Acharya was 21 years, when he became a choreographer for films.

Gajendra Ahire is a Marathi director, actor, producer, screenplay and dialogue writer, and lyricist, born in Nashik and brought up in Mumbai. He was born on 16th February 1969. Gajendra started his career with the play Aaicha Ghar Unhacha, in which he was the playwright and played a role. He had written the script for the theater plays Unch Maza Jhoka Ga, Janmasiddha, and Ek Diwas Yeilach. Then, he ventured into the TV industry and started scripting for serials. One of his famous works is the serial Shrimaan Shrimati produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. He had also played in Marathi films in notable roles. He made his debut in 2002 as a director with the film Krishna Katachi Mira, which didn’t hit the screens. But, it received the Maharashtra State Awards for Best Actress, Best Singer Female, and Best Singer Male.

Ajay Gogavale is a prominent Indian music composer and director. He was born on August 21, 1976, in Pune to Ashok Gogavale. He grew up in different villages because of his father’s job. Ajay is the brother of Atul Gogavale who is also a popular music composer and director. They collaborated in several hit films and their duo was known as Ajay-Atul. In his childhood, Ajay was not interested in academics. He is more focused on music and so, he and his brother joined the NCC competition. They won and made this as their inspiration to pursue their passion. They don’t have a musical background and they could not even afford to buy a musical instrument. The two started their ventures in school, local bands, temples, etc. and befriend those who owned instruments since they cannot afford to buy for themselves. During college, Ajay and his brother started working as arrangers for local bands.

Guru Thakur is a versatile actor, playwright, poet, lyricist as well as a scriptwriter in Marathi cinema. He was born on 18 July in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has lived most of his life in Mumbai. Talking about his versatility, he was a newspaper columnist along with an amazing caricaturist, cartoonist, and voiceover artist. He has written for various Marathi newspapers like Navakaal, Pudhari, Tarun Bharat, and Maharashtra Times. He has written scripts for various well-known Marathi serials and movies. Also, he has given lyrics to various songs including some of the finest Marathi songs.

Upendra Limaye won the national film award for best supporting actor in the year 2010 for his role in a Marathi movie ‘Jogwa’. Upendra is a Marathi actor but even acted in some Hindi movies to date. He was seen in many Madhur Bhandarkar’s movies like ‘Page 3', ‘Chandni Bar’, ‘Traffic Signal’ etc. He later acted in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Sarkar Raj’ too. Most of the films that he acted have mostly garnered positive critical reception. Many of his films had strong content and were filmed exceptionally well with super performances.

Pushkar Shrotri is an Indian film actor and TV artist and a director who has been active in Bollywood, Marathi films and theatre and TV as well. He has done his graduation from M L Dahanukar College. He has worked in more than 25 movies and is a renowned name in the Marathi Film Industry and has been active in movies since 2003.His work has been highly applauded in Marathi films movies like Haapus and Kay Dyache Bola. His main performances in Bollywood are in the blockbuster Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, and its sequel Lage Raho Munna Bhai as a doctor. In 2009, he co-directed a Marathi film Haay Kaay Naay Kaay. He got critics appreciation for performing as super cop in the Rege (2014) in which he changed his look and style. He played the role of a real life ex police officer Sachin Waze in this new avatar, he had to take permission for this and he got it for the motive of the movie was to increase faith of people in police and he was compared to character Bajirao Singham for his incredible and powerful performance in the movie. His next movie Sata Lota Pan Sagla Khota released in September, 2014.               

On TV he has worked in Hasa Chakatfu that was telecasted on Zee Marathi and in Smart Sunbai telecasted on DD Sahyadri. As stated by him acting is his full time profession and he is satisfied with the way things are going for him especially in the Marathi film industry where he is acknowledged and is working on continuous multiple movie projects in versatile and powerful roles.

Mahesh Manjrekar is a renowned actor, director and producer in Marathi cinema. The actor has been in the film industry and theatre for over two decades now and is considered to be a powerhouse of talent. With films like Vaastav and Astitva, he made a mark for himself as a director. Afterwards, he made Virudh with Amitabh Bachchan and Sharmila Tagore.

Kishore Kadam is an Indian Film Actor and Poet. He works in the Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, and Urdu Film Industry. Kishore was born on the 9th of November in the year 1967.   Kishore started his career as an actor in the film industry with the Hindi film Antarnaad (1991) by Shyam Benegal. Kishore later appeared in the Hindi films such as Mammo (1994), Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin (1996), Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar (2000), Black Friday (2004), Special 26 (2013), Anna (2016), and many more.

Paresh Mokashi is an Indian director who worked for the Marathi film industry. He was born on 6th February 1966 and also worked as an actor and writer. As a director he worked in several movies like Chi Va Chi Sau Ka is 2017, Elizabeth Ekadashi in 2014, and Harishchandrachi Factory in 2009. As an actor, he worked in popular films Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999 and played the role of Paresh and Senani Sane Guruji in 1995 and played the role of Sane Guruji.

Nishikant Kamat is a famous director of Indian films. His first movie was Dombivali Fast, a Marathi film where MadhavApte a middle-class bank employee, who is very honest and will abide by the law all the time face injustice and corruption in his life.

Mahesh Limaye is a famous Indian cinematographer who worked in many super hit Hindi and Marathi movies. He gained fame after helming the camera on movies Dabangg (2010), Fashion (2008), Freaky Ali(2016), and Balak Palak (2012), etc. Despite being a cinematographer, he also inherited the talent of a director and a writer, which proved by his critically acclaimed Marathi Drama film "Yellow." Based on a true story, it revolves around a child Gauri Gadgil and her needs. He received appreciation from the audience, and at the 61st National Film award, he won a special jury award.

Abhijit Panse is an Indian director and producer, who has predominantly worked in the Marathi film industry. Panse comes from Thane in Mumbai, and he grew up around the hub of Indian cinema. He started his journey in the world of media with advertisement films and videos. His directorial debut was the 2014 thriller movie, Rege. The gritty film formulates itself around the crime encounter genre that was upcoming in the industry during the time. Its unconventional take on film making with its non-chronological scenes and graphic video made a strong impact.

Nagraj Manjule is an Indian film director, writer, and producer, popular amongst the regional audience for his work in movies like Fandry (2013), An Essay of Rain (2017), Sairat (2016), Naal (2018), etc. Mostly known for his pre-dominant involvement in the Marathi cinema, plays, and TV shows, he is also a recognized poet who has been awarded the Bhairuratan Damani Puraskar for his book titled Unhachya Kataviruddha consisting of poetry in Marathi. Born on 24th August 1977, Nagraj was brought up in Jeur Village near the Solapur district of Maharashtra.

Riteish Deshmukh is the son of a politician, late Vilasrao Deshmukh, who was chief minister of Maharashtra for some terms as a Congress, party member. Riteish was born in Mumbai on December 17, 1978, to Vaishali Deshmukh and Vilasrao Deshmukh.

Mohan Agashe is a theater based actor who predominantly takes an interest in stage and plays. He was introduced to films by Shyam Benegal, who made the only art-house film. The actor got a chance to play roles in movies like Bhumika, Manthan, Nishant and went to act in Govind Nihalini’s’ Aakrosh’ and Goutam Ghose’s film ‘Paar’ and Satyajit Ray’s film ‘Sadgati’ too. Nana Patekar is a popular Indian actor who was born in 1st January in 1951. He is also a successful filmmaker and writer simultaneously. He was born in the place named Murud-Janjira which is located in Raigad district in Maharashtra. His parents are Dinkar Patekar and Sanjana Patekar. Nana Patekar studied Applied Arts at the Sir J.J Institute in Mumbai. From his college life, he was attracted to acting and he did attend the inter-college dramatics. He also loved to sketch. Varun Dhawan, a new comer entered Bollywood with his professional acting and dancing skills withmovie ‘Student of the year’. His father David Dhawan is a well-known movie director. He was born on 24 April 1987 in Mumbai. He has done his degree in business management from Nottingham University, UK. He has worked as assistant director with Karan Johar in ‘My Name Is Khan’. ‘Student Of The Year’ with Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. , Varun got the Best Debut Award for Male in 2014. In this movie he played a rich guy to play the role of ‘Rohan Nanda’. Film critics praised him as a talented, hardworking guy. His charming, fun loving guy image make him Prince Charming.He played leading role in ‘Main Tera Hero’ a Telugu remake and showed his genetic comedy talent to critics. In his next film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ co starred with Alia Bhatt was a big hit of the year. While playing some comedy roles in these movies Varun came back with crime thriller Badlapur and gave a message to become a stable actor who can justify every role given to him. In this movie he took revenge after 15 years.
