Adi is a radio jockey at Radio Exclusive 99.5FM in Kochi and Bala is his wife and they are a newly married couple. At the beginning of the series, Adi is reluctant to get married, he loves and enjoys his single life and he says that being single more peaceful than being married. But the threatening of his mother that he wouldn’t get married until thirty five if he didn’t agree now for marriage put him under a lot of pressure. So he reluctantly agrees to meet the girl. There he met Bala. Bala is a traditional girl with no knowledge about city life. While Adi is a city person. He introduced himself as a small actor who has acted in two web series. But Bala doesn’t know what a web series is. She only knows Television serials. They talk and finally confirm to get married. The wedding itself is a bit of a problem. Adi, being nervous tries to tie the knot. But Bala faints in the middle. She is hospitalised and the priest says if he doesn’t marry at the time, he will not marry until 35. So he marries her in the hospital. Despite this terrible start, the newlyweds move into their new flat in Kochi.
Adi expected a surprise from his friends. They were supposed to clean the apartments. But the apartments were messy with alcohol bottles and snacks. His friends were partying there. Adi and Bala are newlywed and also in an arranged marriage. So they have awkwardness in their conversation. They are starting to know and understand each other. Through their conversation, they understand each other's backgrounds, interests, and differences. Bala is excited to view new things from the new city. She is a village person, so she is excited to visit local attractions like Lulu Mall and the metro. She compares it to a giant wheel in her hometown. The plot changes when Adi's cousin, Anikuttan, shows up at their flat unannounced. Anikuttan is accompanied by a young woman named Nancy, whom he introduces as his girlfriend. He said that they had eloped. Adi, reluctantly allows them to stay. But Bala was not pleased by the act. Adi explains to Bala that he owes Anikuttan a favor because two and a half years ago, Anikuttan saved his life after a road accident. This revelation softens Bala's stance, and she agrees to let them stay for a few days.
But Adi lied. However, the presence of Anikuttan and Nancy creates tension in the newlyweds' home. Nancy seems to make herself at home, offering to cook and asking for various amenities. One night, Adi overhears a conversation between Anikuttan and Nancy. He becomes suspicious of their true intentions. The next morning Bala discovers that Anikuttan and Nancy have disappeared in the morning, leaving the front door open. She fears they might have stolen something. But after searching they find nothing is missing. Throughout these events, we see glimpses of Adi and Bala's developing relationship. They begin to bond over their shared experiences and misunderstandings. Bala shows concern for Adi's well-being and tries to understand his past.
