Aparna Nair’s brush with films came much earlier than her formal debut into Malayalam films with “Nivedyam”in 2007. She had in fact acted in two very short cameo roles in the previous two years, one in the film “Mayookham” as the friend of one of the lead actresses, while in “Notebook” she had appeared in one scene as a TV journalist. Prior to her regular entry into cinema she was more engrossed into modeling and that was her priority, but as luck would have it for her, she got noticed by eminent film personality Lohithadas, who cast her in that first film of her, but neither her role was significant, nor did the film do well in the box office. Hence Aparna had to wait for some more time to gain prominence, which she did not through any role in a movie, but by her acting in a lead role in the play ”Chayamukhi”. Here she crossed swords with veterans Mohanlal and Mukesh, and came up with a brilliant performance bringing her instant fame, and making it easier for her to move ahead in her film career. She started getting roles regularly after this. Some of them were quite meaty ones, like the one opposite Manikuttan in the 2009 film “Meghatheertham”. Like the other major film producing centres of the country, the Malayalam film industry is also in a position to draw upon the talents of a large number of young artists from the fields of modelling or dancing. Contributing to this is the role of TV channels which are spawning anchors for the numerous reality shows and providing a ready bank of fresh talents. One such entry was that of the 28 year old South Indian actress Anumol. Born in Kerala, but equally adept in Malayalam and Tamil films, she in fact started her career in 2010 with the Tamil film "Kannukkulle", starring in one of the three major roles. Her maiden Malayalam film was, however, "Akam", in the very next year, in which she was cast in a romantic role opposite the young Fahad Fasil, and her performance here drew her a large fan following. Next on the line was the biopic “Ivan Megharoopan” by the famous P. Balachandran, and based on the life of poet Kunhiraman, one of the leading figures of Malayalam literature. Chronologically, this was her first film, but as “Akam” had an earlier release, it figures as her maiden Malayalam movie. “Ivan Megharoopan” was also significant for Anumol since it also madeher the recipient of the Surya Award, in 2012 in the capacity of the ‘best debut actress’. Continuing her appearances in Malayalam movies, she featured in the heroine centric film "Chayilyam" followed by "David and Goliath" receiving appreciation from far and wide for her role of Deepa, the estranged wife of the hero, Anoop Menon. However, crass success is not all that Anumol desires, and that is the reason why she is choosy about her future roles, preferring quality and content rather than sheer numbers. This may be the reason why in her upcoming films "God for Sale: Bhakthi Prasthanam", "Vedi Vazhipadu" and "Parayan Baaki Vechathu" she is acting in roles which have meaty characters, and substance. In another film "Parayan Baaki Vechathu" she enacts a different type of role in what has been basically termed as a thriller with political overtones.

Ambika mohan is an Indian film actress, who has acted in more than 175 films. She was born in Ottapalam and bought up in Munnar. Ambika got married to a K.S.E.B engineer “Mohan”, the couple have two daughters. 

She is known for her roles in Malayalam TV serials. She has also acted in a few devotional albums which raised her popularity. We could also see her in some of the advertisements of Jayalakshmi silks, Amala hospital, Kerala handlooms and a lot more. 

One of her best performances was for the movie ‘Kasthooriman”, her character “Vanaja” was outstanding with her natural performance. The movie was directed by the late director Lohithadas, with Meera Jasmine and Kunchacko Boban in the lead roles. Her movie became super hit with the performance of Meera Jasmine, who is a versatile south Indian actress and is two time recipient of Kerala state awards. 

Her debut TV serial was Sargam which was broadcasted in Doordharsan in 2006. She has acted in telefilims Umma Ariyatha Katha in Kairali TV and “Mothiram” in Doordharsan were commendable. 

She made her debut through the movie Meghamalhar directed by “Kamal” in 2001. The film is considered as one of the best Malayalam romantic poetic love story. Ambika Mohan acted as the hero’s sister in law. The movie bagged many awards including Kerala state film awards. Ambika Mohan was lucky enough to show her presence in most of the Malayalam movie which were commercial hits. She has been active in the Malayalam film industry from 2001 to till date and is still doing handful of moves every year. Some of Her upcoming projects are: Nirameghangal, Abduvinte Swantham Ammaku, Wonderful Journey and Mallanum Mathevanum. Archana Suseelan is a well known cine-serial artist. Archana was born and brought up in North India and she moved to Kerala during her teens. Archana married a Delhi based marketing executive, Manoj Yadav in 2014.

Ende Manasa Putri revolved around the story of two girls from an orphanage and the unexpected twists in their lives. Glory’s character had shades of negativity and Archana’s strong screen presence and acting was one of the main reasons for the success of Ende Manasa Putri. Archana has acted in many Malayalam and Tamil serials. In the serial Amma kili she played the lead role as Gopika who is striving hard to protect her family from the villains. Leading actress Seema enacted the role of Gopika’s mother. Her cameo role with super star Dileep in the Malayalam movie Karyastan was well noticed. Her debut in the Tamil movie industry was with Tolaipeshi, which did not garner wider response. Archana has also ventured into the world of business by launching a garment shop called Gloryz in Trivandrum. Archana is also a much sought after dancer and often gives stage performances. Dinesh Pallath, who made his story writing debut in the 2009 Tamil action-drama "Armaname" directed by Sudesh Shankar, is active in the Indian screenwriter, story writer, dialogue writer of Malayalam and Tamil film industry. It is a director who did. Since his debut, Dinesh has appeared in films such as Villali Veeran (2014), Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare (2015), and Aadupuliyattam (2016). In 2018, Dinesh created the thriller Chanakyathanthram, directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam. Unni Mukundan, Shivada Nair, and Anoop Menon play essential roles in the cast. The 2019 release includes Pattabhiraman. He is the dialogue writer of To Let Ambadi Talkies (2014), story and screenplay writer of Sooraiyadal (2014), the story, screenplay, and dialogue writer of Villali Veeran (2014), Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare (2015), Aadupuliyattam (2016), Chanakyatanthram (2018), Pattabhiraman (2019), Kabani (2019), Padatha Painkili (2020), Maradu (2021), etc.

 

Jose Peroorkada is a Malayalam production controller. He takes care of the cast and crew members and divides the work between them according to the venue, date, and the timings of the programmes. He is known for the famous and featured television show Vishu Special, which was telecasted on Asianet. He is mainly responsible for taking care of and coordinating with the cast and crew of the programmes on the Asianet TV channel and Malayalam channel. In 2019, he took charge of the TV serial Mounaragam, shown on Asianet TV. Jose Peroorkada is also responsible for looking at the cast and crew of programmes like Patharamattu on Asianet TV. Jose Peroorkada is also responsible for other programmes on the same channel, like Star Music Season-5.

Santhosh Perali is a Malayalam lyricist who has written songs for Malayalam TV shows. He has worked as a composer for TV shows and also as an individual songwriter for various songs or albums. He is famously known for working as a composer or lyricist for the featured TV show Padatha Painkili (TV series). He penned the song Pandu Thotten of Abhijith Kollam's Malayalam Album Callertune 2018 by Eeran Nilavu. He is the known lyricist of the song Niravanam from the Onam Album Song. For the song album, he shared the platform with other singing stars like Ks Harishankar (vocalist) and Kailas, Kalidas, Vinod, and Vyzag Jay- supporting vocalists/artists. He writes songs and content, too. In 2023, he penned the lyrics of the song, Ammanakumbililenthe, from "Onavirunnu."

K.S. Harishankar is a famous Malayalam film industry playback singer. He has made his debut at the very early age of 5 and with a great singer K.J. Yesudas in the movie ‘Saaphalyam’ released in 1999 and was directed by G.S. Vijayan. His career got a lift from the song “Jeevamshamayi” from the movie ‘Theevandi’ released in 2018 and was directed by Fellini T.P. He was born in Haripad, Alappuzha district in Kerala, India. His father’s name is Dr. Alappuzha Sreekumar and his Mother’s name is Kamala Lakshmi.

M Jayachandran is an Indian musician, music composer, and singer; he works in Malayalam Film Industry. Jayachandran was born on 5th April 1971 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His parents are Madhusudhanan Nair and Sukumari Amma. He took his Electrical Engineering degree from TKM College of Engineering. On 12th November 1995, he got married to Priya. At the age of 5, he started his training in the Carnatic music from Attingal Harihara Iyer and then under Perumbavoor G Raveendranath.

Sabarinath is a Malayalam television actor known for his roles in many television serials. He is born in Kerala and he played a lead role in the serial “Nilvilakku,” aired on Surya TV. “Nilavilakku” was a famous Malayalam television serial, which has completed more than 1000 episodes on Surya TV. Sabarinath did the role of Adithyan, the husband of Archana, an innocent girl who has to suffer a lot from her husband’s family. Archana's parents didn’t give her enough dowry, so she had to suffer a lot from her in-laws.

Fazal Razi hails from Kollam, Kerala. He is a Serial artist, popularly known as Aadarsh Menon, the name of his character in Ente Manasa Puthri. The serial ran for three years on Asianet from 2007- 2010. Fazal’s character which began with a negative touch soon turned out to be a positive one, and people readily accepted him. He won the Lulu Minnale Television Award in 2010, as Best Supporting Actor for his role in Ente Manasa Puthri. Fazal has also acted in the teleserial Aardram aired on Asianet. He was also part of a reality show on Asianet called Munch Stars, where the team of Aardram had to compete with other serial teams. He has sung for the music video M3 – My Memorable Moments. Fazal is a stage singer too and has sung for many popular stage shows. He is a football player, was the Captain of Kerala Football team, and was a part of the Indian Football team as well. He is a Southern railway employee.

A well-known name in Malayalam movie and television industry, Prem Prakash is an actor and a successful producer. He is also known to Malayalam industry through his sons Sanjay and Bobby, the successful scriptwriters of Malayalam movies. He is also known as the younger brother of the beautiful, cruel villain of Malayalam in the 70’s to 90’s, Jose Prakash.

Prem Prakash had a great attachment towards the entertainment industry since a very young age. His debut to the industry was as a play back singer for the movie Karthika in 1968. But more than a singer he established himself as an actor. His first screen presence in a small role was in Ara Nazhika Neram in 1970, a film by director K. S. Sethumadhavan based on a novel of the same name written by the notable writer Parappurath. The Film was a multi starrer with Prem Nazir, Sathyan and actress Sheela.

He debuted as a producer in 1979 through the film Peruvazhiyambalam, marking the launch of director Padmarajan, one of the legends of Malayalam Cinema. He has produced more than 10 films till date, and these films have been the all-time hits of Malayalam. Koodevide, Akashadoothu, Johnnie Walker, Ayalum Njanum Thammil, Ente Veedu Appuntayum are some of his notable films. He has also acted in many movies in character roles.

He established himself as an actor through his roles in his serials. He has acted in about 15 serials till date and his serial Avicharitham in Asianet, which he also produced, marked him as a great actor. Avicharitham is a 40 episode serial penned by Sanjay and Bobby with Prem Prakash as Aravindan an enterprising Journalist. The story revolves on the life of Aravindan, married but with an ailing wife and a college going daughter ends up in an extra marital affair with Devika, a competent Journalist.

His character role in his previous serial Swapnam in Asianet paved way for strong and deep roles. Many of the serials directed by K.K Rajeev had prominent roles played by Prem Prakash. Some of his other serials are Roses in December in 1995, Mandaram directed by Saji Surendran , Amma Manasu, Akashadoothu the sequel of his movie of the same name in 1993, depicting the sorrowful separation of a mother and her children. His last serial was Avalude Katha by K. K. Rajeev where he portrayed the father of the central character. He has also produced television serials like Avasthantharangal penned by his sons, and his brother Jose Prakash appeared in an important role; Agneyam directed by K.K Rajeev had received many awards.

He is a recipient of many awards, best film, best actor, best popular film, best tele serial from the state government. His first award was the Rajat Kamal Award for Best Malayalam Feature Film for Peruvazhiyambalam in 1979.

He lives in Kottayam with his wife and children. He is married to Daisy Luke who is a retired English professor from BCM College Kottayam. Apart from his two sons he also has a daughter named Thankam. He is currently serving as the treasurer of Kerala Film Producers Association.
